I don't see this in the list, but I can't believe it's not be suggested:

We really need a way to indicate our intended target in a War. Showing on the war map who wants to hit each opponent would drastically simplify planning and streamline communication.

I imagine something like the "recommended target" reticle, but different colors with a player's name next to it. You can set 2 of these per player, both during preparation day and war day.

Pretty straight forward, and a big benefit to team communication.
