[Misc] The Future

I type this short nostalgic paragraph as my account turns 3 years old and it deeply saddens me to see supercell ruin a great game. I am nearing max th 9 (I've taken month long breaks and I'm a casual player lol)

From the beginning clash thrived from how easy it was to be social with others. Being able to interact with each other and play a great game while all playing towards a common goal was intriguing to many and players always coming back for more.

I remember the good old days when there was a waterfall flowing in the corner of your base, where making it to champions league meant something, where th 8 was the max town hall and where you could delete any building in the game besides th. While not a perfect game the game was bustling with new players and experienced players alike. As the game progressed we got th 9, th 10 and finally clan vs clan wars were added in Spring of 2014. Up until now I believe that supercell created updates for the player's enjoyment and that's why the game was so popular. It was fun. The December update has taken the fun out of the game is going to destroy the community. (Hear me out)

This update destroyed the game and is making many hardcore players and casuals quit. People may say "the subreddit doesn't reflect what people really think about the update," but it's true. Many many people are quitting (including the #1 player right now. This is not good for the community at all. As this loot problems remains unfixed more people will quit. As more people quit and stop buying gems. People rate the game 1 star on the App Store to show their dislike for he update. As this happens clash loses popularity. Eventually clash will lose popularity so much it will no longer be advertised on the top grossing so there will be a lack of influx of new players. As the game dies you tubers will switch content. As the youtubers switch content because they will have a very little audience, the figureheads of clash will be gone. The only people left playing the game will be trophy pushers, hardcore players, gemmers and people who play strictly for war.

This is worst case scenario, I'm sure supercell will fix the loot issue. But if they continue to ignore the player base and refuse to fix the loot, they will be supporting the downfall of the best mobile game ever. Rome didn't fall in a day and neither will clash. But seriously, this update is a cancer to the community.

Thanks for taking the time to read if you did. Sorry for any grammatical errors in advance, it's late.
