[MISC] I am quitting...how I used to play the game. Not that big of a deal.
10:58 AMI loved this game. It provided me hours and hours of entertainment, whether I was grinding upgrades, experimenting with flashy troop comps, making friends with all sorts of people around the world who were just as enthusiastic about the game, or showing off my skills (and failures) in war.
And then the TH11 update dropped. Now there are no more easy shields! War attacks are too easy! I can't live off collectors and townhall snipes in masters league as a early-to-mid TH9! Who is Supercell to tell me that a real Chief does more than drop a couple lines of barch to secure a massive league bonus?
crickets
You know what? It's not that big of a deal. I understand that there is a loot shortage, but that is easily fixable by Supercell by a time and method of their choosing. In the interim, I dropped to silver leagues, I've barched plenty to keep four builders going and I unlocked level 6 giants a week ago and I will finish level 4 healers today. Between my drills and raiding, I've upgraded my AQ continuously from 6 to 11 since the update. The biggest thing that the update changed for me was pushing me to drop both X-Bows. It'll push up my war weight, certainly, but, being a casual warrior, I need every deterrent I can get.
I have quit the old way of playing. And it wasn't that big of a deal. Adapt. Or just rage quit and circle jerk yourself some karma. This update has made me want to quit Reddit far more than Clash.
