I run video productions in a 10,000 sqft interactive gaming facility and need to fill up the space during the slow mid-February time frame. I'm strongly considering a gaming tournament for Clash of Clans because of the size of the audience and for the simplicity of logistics (handheld devices vs consoles/PCs). I have a general list of format and structure ideas, but I'm hoping to hear of recommendations: 1 - most gold gained in one session 2 - most elixir gained " 3 - most DE " 4 - most overall loot " 5 - most trophies gained in crystal league 6 - most trophies gained in champions, master, etc... 7 - most xp gained 8 - fastest 3 star 9 - most inferno towers destroyed 10 - most troops spring launched in a spring trap 11 - most clan war stars 12 - fastest hog rider raid 13 - fastest balloon raid 14 - most % with goblins 15 - most % with barbs 16 - most % with archers

We've got the gear to capture devices directly with HDMI adapters, Airplay and Chromecast so tracking progress at each contestant's checkin will be an easy, but tedious task.

From that point, any of the formats can be used to steer the tournament. We have shout casters that can cover live and replayed video.

The cost to enter is still up in the air, but we're aiming at $20 which includes drink and pizza tickets and free use of the gaming facility.

Money will go to prize pool and some of it to the facility.

Sponsors have been identified and are willing to donate prizes and if there's enough interest, will match the cash pool.

... and we'll be live streaming the event on Twitch and YouTube gaming of course :)
